Car
If you're traveling by car, take the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) and head east towards Manitoba. Depending on your starting point in Central Canada, you may need to take various provincial highways. Once you reach Steinbach, follow Provincial Trunk Highway 12 south. The Mennonite Heritage Village is located at 231 Provincial Trunk Hwy 12, on your right-hand side. Look for the large sign marking the entrance. Parking is available on-site, and there are no additional costs for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Mennonite Heritage Village via public transportation, you can take a bus to Steinbach from Winnipeg. Look for services such as Greyhound or local bus providers that operate routes between Winnipeg and Steinbach. Once you arrive in Steinbach, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to cover the 4 km distance to the village, as public transit options may be limited. Taxi fares from downtown Steinbach to the Mennonite Heritage Village generally range from $10 to $15 CAD.
