Car
If you're starting from the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, you will need to take a ferry from one of the islands to Prince Edward Island (PEI). The most common route is to take the ferry from Salt Spring Island to Swartz Bay, then drive north to the Tsawwassen terminal to catch a ferry to Duke Point on Vancouver Island. From there, drive to the ferry terminal for PEI. Once on PEI, follow Route 1 from Charlottetown towards Borden-Carleton. Once in Borden-Carleton, turn onto Unnamed Road, and you will find the Port Borden Back Range Light at the end of the road. Keep in mind that ferry costs can vary, so check the BC Ferries and Marine Atlantic websites for the latest prices and schedules.

For those relying on public transportation, you will first need to take a bus to get to the nearest ferry terminal.
