Getting There

• Public Transit

  To reach the Victoria Seaport Lighthouse Museum from downtown Charlottetown, start by heading to the nearest bus stop on University Avenue. Catch the bus that heads towards Victoria. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Once you arrive in Victoria, disembark at the stop closest to Russell Street. From there, walk towards Russell Street. The museum is located at 2 Russell St, which is just a short walk from the bus stop. Follow Russell Street until you reach the museum, which should be clearly marked.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Charlottetown. Head out of the city center on the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1) heading east. Follow the signs for Victoria. After approximately 12 kilometers, turn onto Russell Street. The museum is located at 2 Russell St. There is typically parking available for bicycles near the museum entrance.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, start from the center of Charlottetown and head east on Water Street towards the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the Confederation Bridge sign. Follow the path leading to the Victoria area. The distance is about 12 kilometers and would take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of walking. Once in Victoria, head towards Russell Street, where the museum is located at 2 Russell St.
