In 1945, the main inn and 14 cabins were added. During the prohibition era in the 1950s, the basement even served as a speakeasy, with original Scottish paintings still visible on the walls. Over the years, the inn has expanded, replacing chalets with suite buildings and adding a dockside patio.Today, the Bonnie View Inn features 26 rooms and suites, offering a range of accommodations from cozy rooms in the main inn to spacious chalets and suites with lake views. Guests can enjoy a private beach, water activities, hiking trails, and nearby attractions such as the Haliburton Sculpture Forest.
