Getting There

  • Car

    From the town of Haliburton, head northeast on Highland Street towards Park Street. Continue onto County Road 21 for approximately 4.5 km. Turn left onto Redkenn Road and continue for 1 km. Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve will be on your right at 1095 Redkenn Road. Parking is available at the main office (Base Camp). Parking is free.

  • Public Transport

    Take a local bus to the Haliburton Village transit stop. From there, take a taxi to Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve. Pre-arrange your taxi as options are limited. A taxi from Haliburton Village to the reserve costs approximately CAD 20-30.

  • Biking

    For a scenic and active approach, cycle from Haliburton Village. Start on County Road 21 and follow the same route as for cars. It's approximately a 6 km ride to the entrance of Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve. Ensure you have appropriate safety gear. There is no cost for biking.
