Turn right onto Highway 35 and proceed for about 5 kilometers. Next, turn left onto Kashagawigamog Lake Road. The Haliburton Post House is located at 1297 Kashagawigamog Lake Rd, Minden, ON K0M 2K0, which is about 1 kilometer down the road on your left.

• Public Transportation

  To reach The Haliburton Post House using public transportation, you will first need to find a local bus service that operates within the Haliburton Highlands area. Check the schedule for the Haliburton Highlands Transportation Service. Board a bus that heads towards Minden. Once you arrive in Minden, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to 1297 Kashagawigamog Lake Rd, as public transport does not directly service this location. Expect taxi fares to be around $15-$20 CAD.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous visitors, consider cycling to The Haliburton Post House. From the village of Haliburton, take County Road 21 south for approximately 8 kilometers. Turn onto Highway 35 and then take a left onto Kashagawigamog Lake Road. The lodge is about 1 kilometer down on your left. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all cycling safety regulations.

• Walking

  If you're staying nearby and are up for a walk, head south from Haliburton along Highway 118, then take Highway 35 southbound. Be advised that this route is approximately 20 kilometers and may take around 4-5 hours to walk, so ensure you're prepared with water and snacks. Turn left onto Kashagawigamog Lake Road, and The Haliburton Post House will be on your left.
