    Walking

    From downtown Halifax, start at the Halifax Citadel. Head north on Brunswick Street towards Cogswell Street. Turn left onto Cogswell Street and continue until you reach Gottingen Street. Turn right onto Gottingen Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Almon Street. Cross over to Almon Street and continue walking straight. Eventually, you will reach the North End of Halifax. Follow Almon Street until it turns into Stairs Place. Fort Needham Memorial Park will be on your left at 5515 Stairs Place.

    Public Transit - Bus

    From downtown Halifax, go to the nearest bus stop and catch the Metro Transit bus number 7 (or any bus heading towards the North End). Ride the bus until you reach the 'Gottingen St. at Almon St.' stop. From there, walk south on Gottingen Street until you reach Almon Street, then turn right. Continue straight until Almon Street becomes Stairs Place. Fort Needham Memorial Park is located at 5515 Stairs Place on your left.
