If you are in downtown Halifax, head towards the waterfront. Start at the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk and walk west along the boardwalk. You will pass by various shops, restaurants, and attractions. Continue walking until you reach the end of the boardwalk, where it meets Marginal Road. Turn left onto Marginal Road and walk for about 5 minutes. The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 will be on your right at 1055 Marginal Rd.

From downtown Halifax, you can take the Metro Transit bus. Head to the nearest bus stop and find a bus route that goes towards the South End or the waterfront area. Route 1 and Route 7 are good options. After boarding, ask the driver to notify you when you reach the stop for Pier 21. Once you get off, walk towards Marginal Road, and the museum will be nearby at 1055 Marginal Rd.
