If you are starting from downtown Halifax, head towards the waterfront along the Halifax Harbour. Begin at the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk and walk west until you reach the end of the boardwalk. From there, turn left onto Lower Water Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Barrington Street. Turn right onto Barrington Street, which will take you north. Continue on Barrington Street until you reach the intersection with Spring Garden Road. Here, turn left onto Spring Garden Road and walk until you reach the intersection with South Park Street. Turn right onto South Park Street, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Point Pleasant Drive. Follow Point Pleasant Drive until you reach the entrance to Point Pleasant Park at 5530 Point Pleasant Dr.

From downtown Halifax, you can take the Halifax Transit bus number 14 or 15 from the Halifax Bus Terminal, located at 5251 Duke Street. Board the bus heading towards the South End. Get off at the stop at the intersection of South Park Street and Point Pleasant Drive. From there, walk along Point Pleasant Drive until you reach the entrance to Point Pleasant Park at 5530 Point Pleasant Dr.
