Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, head east towards the Historic Properties. Continue along the waterfront until you reach Lower Water Street. Turn left onto Lower Water Street, then turn right onto Hollis Street. Walk straight for a few blocks, and you'll find Peace and Friendship Park on your left. There are no costs associated with walking.

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Halifax, locate the nearest Halifax Transit bus stop. Take bus number 1 or 14 heading towards the South End. Get off at the Hollis Street stop. Walk north on Hollis Street, and Peace and Friendship Park will be shortly ahead on your left. As of September 2024, a single adult fare is $3. Seniors and youth pay $2.25. Tickets are valid for 150 minutes (2.5 hours) from activation.
