From the Halifax waterfront, follow the boardwalk south towards the Seaport Farmers' Market. Continue along the water, passing the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. Follow the road as it curves around the south end of the city, with the water on your left. Continue along this road (Point Pleasant Drive) until you reach the park entrance. The walk is approximately 45 minutes to an hour, offering scenic views of the harbor. No costs involved.

From downtown Halifax, the Halifax Transit bus route 29, 'Point Pleasant Park', will take you directly to the park. The bus operates frequently, with service every 30 minutes. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes from downtown. The nearest bus stop to the park is Tower Rd at Tower Rd Turning Loop (8409), which is a 10 min walk away. A single fare for Halifax Transit is $2.75.
