Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the southern end of South End Halifax, head north towards South Park Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Spring Garden Road. Cross Spring Garden Road, and then turn left. Walk along Spring Garden Road until you reach the intersection with Barrington Street. Turn right onto Barrington Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront area. At this point, look for signs indicating Lower Water Street; The Wave is located on Lower Water Street. It's roughly a 20-minute walk from the southern part of South End Halifax.

• Public Transit - Bus

  From various points in South End Halifax, you can catch a bus from the Halifax Transit. Look for Route 1 or 7, which travels towards downtown. Board the bus and get off at the stop on Barrington Street, near the waterfront. From there, walk east towards Lower Water Street. The Wave is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is CAD 2.50, and you can pay with exact change or a transit pass.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, consider renting a bike from a nearby rental service in South End Halifax. Head towards the waterfront along any of the bike-friendly streets such as South Park Street. Make your way towards Barrington Street and take the bike path directly to Lower Water Street. The Wave is easily accessible from the bike path. Always wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws. Rental prices vary, but expect to pay around CAD 10-20 for a few hours.
