From South End Halifax, head towards the Halifax Waterfront. You can walk along the waterfront boardwalk which is accessible from various points in South End. Tickets can be purchased at the terminal or online, costing around CAD $20 for a round trip. The ferry ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

If you're already at the Halifax Waterfront, simply walk towards the ferry terminal located at the end of the boardwalk. If you are farther away in South End and need to use public transportation, take the Halifax Transit bus (Routes 1, 7, or 14) that goes towards downtown Halifax. Get off at the stop nearest to the waterfront, such as the 'Maritime Museum' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the ferry terminal. A single fare on Halifax Transit costs around CAD $2.75.
