Driving
To reach The Caves by car, start from Winnipeg and head north on Provincial Trunk Highway 8. Continue on Highway 8 until you reach Provincial Road 234, then turn left. Follow PR 234 to Pine Dock. Once in Pine Dock, look for local signs indicating the direction to The Caves. Be aware that the road to Pine Dock is a gravel road and may be in poor condition. There is limited parking available near the site. Be respectful of private property and do not block access to local residences. There are no parking fees.
Walking
Once you arrive in Pine Dock, the final approach to The Caves involves a walk along the shoreline. From the community, head south along the lake. The path can be uneven and may be partially underwater depending on the lake level. Be prepared to walk through shallow water and over slippery rocks. There are no designated walking paths, so use caution and be mindful of the environment. The walk from the edge of Pine Dock to the main cave area is approximately 1-2 kilometers. There are no fees associated with walking to The Caves.
