Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Kingston. Head east on King Street toward Ontario Street. Continue straight onto Princess Street. Take a left onto Ontario Street and follow it until you reach the ferry terminal at the end of the road. You will need to park your car at the terminal, which typically charges a fee of around $10 for parking (check local rates for accuracy). From the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Cedar Island, which operates regularly, but be sure to check the schedule ahead of time as it may vary.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, begin at the Kingston Transit terminal located at 2090 Bath Road. Take the Route 15 bus toward the downtown area. Get off at the stop near Ontario Street and King Street.   If you are already in the city center, walking to the ferry terminal is a pleasant option. Simply head east on King Street, which will lead you directly to the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the end of Ontario Street where the ferry terminal is located.
