From any location in Lanaudière, get onto Autoroute 25 South towards Montreal. Continue on Autoroute 25, then take the exit towards Autoroute 720 West. Follow the signs for 'Centre Ville' and merge onto Autoroute 720. Continue until you reach the exit for 'Notre-Dame Street'. Merge onto Notre-Dame Street, and you will find access to the Lachine Canal area. There are several parking lots along the canal, but be prepared to pay for parking, typically around CAD 2 to CAD 5 per hour.

If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Lanaudière to the nearest train station.
