Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Lanaudière. Head west on Highway 40 towards Montreal. Merge onto Highway 720 towards the downtown area. Continue on Boulevard de Maisonneuve until you reach the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. Cross the bridge and take the exit for Autoroute 10. After approximately 4 km, take the exit for Autoroute 50 towards Gatineau. Continue on Autoroute 50 until you reach the exit for Boulevard des Allumettières. Follow this boulevard to Kichi Zībī Mīkan. The park will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but there may be a fee depending on the time of year.
Public Transportation
To reach Remic Rapids Park using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train from your location in Lanaudière to the nearest city with transit service to Ottawa. If you’re in Joliette, take the bus to Montreal's Central Station. From there, catch a train from the Gare d’Ottawa. Once you arrive at Ottawa Station, transfer to the OC Transpo bus #85 towards the 'Hurdman' station. Ride until you reach the stop at 'Kichi Zībī Mīkan'. The park is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the OC Transpo schedule for bus timings, as they may vary throughout the day. A single fare for OC Transpo is approximately $3.70 CAD.
