Car
If you are traveling by car, start on Route 117 (also known as Autoroute 117) heading north from any location in Laurentides. Follow the signs towards Mont-Tremblant. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Route 125 in the direction of Saint-Donat. Continue on Route 125 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci. Once you are in the village, follow the signs for Chem. du Massif. The entrance to Ouareau Forest Regional Park is located at 2007 Chem. du Massif. There is a parking area available, but be aware that there may be a parking fee, so bring cash just in case.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Laurentides to the nearest major town, such as Mont-Tremblant. From Mont-Tremblant, you can take a local bus service (check the schedule in advance) towards Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci. Once you arrive in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park entrance at 2007 Chem. du Massif, as public transportation may not cover the last stretch. Be sure to check the timings for both the bus and taxi services to avoid any delays.
