Car
If you are driving from the center of Montérégie, take Autoroute 20 (A20) heading towards Montreal. Merge onto Autoroute 720 (A720) towards downtown Montreal. As you approach the city, follow the signs for 'Pont Jacques-Cartier' (Jacques Cartier Bridge). Take exit 4 for 'Boulevard de Maisonneuve' and continue straight. You will see signs directing you to the bridge. Once on the bridge, enjoy the stunning views of the city.
Public Transportation
To reach Jacques Cartier Bridge using public transport, go to your nearest bus or train station in Montérégie. Take a bus or train towards Montreal. If you take the train, get off at the 'Bonaventure' station. From there, transfer to Metro Line 1 (Green Line) towards 'Angrignon' and get off at 'Berri-UQAM'. After that, transfer to Metro Line 2 (Orange Line) towards 'Côte-Vertu' and get off at 'Papineau' station. Exit the station and walk south on Rue Papineau until you reach the bridge. It’s about a 15-minute walk.
