Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from anywhere in Montérégie, take Autoroute 20 or Autoroute 30 towards Montreal. Follow the signs for Autoroute 720 (Ville-Marie Expressway) as you approach the city. Once on Autoroute 720, take the exit toward Rue de la Commune/Parc Jean-Drapeau. Continue on Rue de la Commune until you reach the Jacques Cartier Bridge exit. The bridge is located at 134 Jacques-Cartier Brg, Montreal, Quebec H2K 4M2. Be aware that there may be tolls when crossing the bridge, so keep some cash or a card ready.

• Public Transportation

  To get to the Jacques Cartier Bridge using public transportation, first take the train from your location in Montérégie to Montreal's Central Station. From there, you can take the Metro. Board the Green Line Metro (Line 1) towards Angrignon and get off at the Berri-UQAM station. Transfer to the Yellow Line toward Longueuil-Jean-Drapeau. Get off at the Jean-Drapeau station. From the station, walk towards the bridge, which is about a 15-minute walk away. Note that there may be costs for the train and metro tickets, so plan accordingly.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can start from any point in Montérégie and follow bike paths leading to Montreal. Once in Montreal, use the bike lanes to navigate towards the Jacques Cartier Bridge. The bridge has a dedicated cycling path. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic signals. There is no cost to cross the bridge by bike.

• Walking

  If you're staying close to the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Montreal, walking is a pleasant option. You can stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the views of the St. Lawrence River. Follow the path leading to the bridge entrance at 134 Jacques-Cartier Brg. It's a beautiful area and a great way to experience the local atmosphere.
