If you are driving from anywhere in Montérégie, head towards Autoroute 20 (A20) in the direction of Montreal. Follow the A20 until you reach the exit for Boulevard Angrignon (Exit 63). Continue on Boulevard Angrignon until you reach Rue Notre-Dame. Turn left onto Rue Notre-Dame and follow it until you reach Canal Street. Turn right onto Canal Street, and you will find the Lachine Canal - Saint-Gabriel Lock on your left. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared for potential parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach Lachine Canal - Saint-Gabriel Lock via public transportation, take the Exo commuter train from any station in Montérégie towards Montreal. If you are in Longueuil, you can catch the train from Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke. Disembark at the Bonaventure station in Montreal. From there, take the Metro Orange Line towards Côte-Vertu and transfer at Lionel-Groulx to the Green Line towards Angrignon. Get off at the Monk station. Once you exit the station, walk west along Rue Monk until you reach Boulevard Notre-Dame, then turn left onto Canal Street. The Lachine Canal - Saint-Gabriel Lock will be on your left. Be sure to check the current fare for the Exo train and Metro, which typically requires a ticket costing around CAD $4.50 for a single ride.
