If you are driving from Montérégie, get onto Autoroute 30 (A30) heading towards Montreal. Follow signs for Autoroute 10 (A10) towards Montreal. Once you reach Montreal, continue on A10 until you reach the exit for Boulevard Robert-Bourassa. Follow Boulevard Robert-Bourassa to Rue de la Gauchetière, then turn left onto Rue de la Gauchetière. Continue straight until you reach Old Montreal City. Parking is available in the area, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from $2 to $5 per hour.

Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer public transportation, take the exo train from Montérégie to Montreal. You can board the train at one of the exo stations closest to you, such as in Longueuil or Brossard. The train will take you to Central Station in Montreal. From Central Station, exit and head towards the Bonaventure Metro Station. Take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon and get off at the Place-d'Armes station. From there, it's a short walk to Old Montreal City. Train tickets typically cost around $5.50 one way.

Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Montérégie to Montreal. Check for the exo bus services that operate from various municipalities in Montérégie to downtown Montreal. For instance, the line 45 from Brossard can take you to the Terminus de Longueuil, where you can transfer to the Metro. Use the Longueuil-Jean-Drapeau Metro station, take the Yellow Line to Berri-UQAM, and then switch to the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Get off at Place-d'Armes station. Bus fares are generally around $3.50.
