Car
To reach the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site by car from Montérégie, start by getting onto Autoroute 20 (A20) heading east. Continue on A20 for approximately 90 km. As you approach Québec City, merge onto Autoroute 440 (A440) towards Québec. Follow A440 until it ends and merges onto Boulevard Charest Est. Continue straight until you reach Rue D'Auteuil. The Fortifications will be on your right at 2 Rue D'Auteuil, G1R 5C2. Be aware that parking may incur a cost, typically around CAD 2-3 per hour in nearby areas.
