Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near a Metro station, take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Disembark at the Berri-UQAM station. Once you exit the station, head south on Berri Street toward Sainte-Catherine Street. Turn right onto Sainte-Catherine Street and continue until you reach the intersection with St. Laurent Boulevard. Turn left onto St. Laurent Boulevard and walk until you reach the entrance to Chinatown, which is marked by the large red archway.

  • Walking

    If you are in the downtown area, you can walk to Chinatown. Start at the corner of René-Lévesque Boulevard and Saint-Laurent Boulevard. Head south on Saint-Laurent Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Sainte-Catherine Street. Turn right onto Sainte-Catherine, then make a left onto St. Urbain Street. Continue walking until you see the Chinatown archway welcoming you to the area.

  • Bus

    Find a nearby bus stop serving the STM (Société de transport de Montréal) buses. You can take bus number 55 (St. Laurent) or 361 (Sainte-Catherine). If taking bus 55, get off at the stop at St. Catherine and St. Laurent. From there, walk south on St. Laurent Boulevard and you will soon arrive at Chinatown’s entrance marked by the archway.
