If you're driving from St. John's, take the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1) west for approximately 700 km until you reach the community of Gander. From Gander, continue on Route 1 until you reach the town of Grand Falls-Windsor, where you'll turn onto Route 390. Follow Route 390 until it intersects with Route 1 again. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the town of Bishop's Falls. Here, you'll turn onto Route 370, which will take you through the scenic areas of central Newfoundland. Stay on Route 370 until you reach the junction of Route 500 and turn left onto Route 500 towards Churchill Falls. This route is approximately 800 km from St. John's and can take around 10 hours of driving time, so plan for rest stops along the way.

Once in Gander, you can take a bus operated by Central Newfoundland Bus to Grand Falls-Windsor.
