From the Niagara Falls city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Robinson Street. Take the Niagara Region Transit bus number 10, which is bound for Niagara-on-the-Lake. The bus will take you through scenic routes and drop you off at the Niagara-on-the-Lake bus terminal. Once at the terminal, transfer to bus number 4 towards 'Old Town.' Alight at the stop closest to Lakeshore Road, which is a short walk from Hinterbrook Estate Winery. Follow Lakeshore Road west for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at 1181 Lakeshore Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0.

If you prefer to walk from the Niagara Falls city center, start at the Niagara Falls Visitor Center. Head south on the Niagara Parkway, enjoying the beautiful views of the river. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of the Niagara Parkway and Queenston Street (approximately 1.5 miles). Cross Queenston Street, then follow the signs towards Niagara-on-the-Lake. This route will take you through the scenic parklands. Once you reach Niagara-on-the-Lake, ask locals for directions to Lakeshore Road. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the town center to reach Hinterbrook Estate Winery at 1181 Lakeshore Rd.

For the adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to get to Hinterbrook Estate Winery. Start at the Niagara Falls bike rental locations, and head south on the dedicated bike path along the Niagara Parkway. This bike path runs parallel to the river and is well-marked. After about 6 miles, you will reach the outskirts of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Follow the signs directing you towards the town center, then take a right onto Lakeshore Road.
