Car
If you are driving, start by getting onto Highway 417 from your location in Ottawa Valley. Follow the signs to merge onto Highway 416 South towards Kanata. Take exit 60 for Hunt Club Road and continue to follow it until you reach the intersection with Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Riverside Drive and continue until you reach the Alexandra Bridge, which is located at Alexandra Bridge, Ottawa, ON. There is no cost for parking in the area.
Public Transportation
To reach Alexandra Bridge Lookout using public transportation, you can take an OC Transpo bus from your location in Ottawa Valley. If you are near a major bus terminal, board a bus heading towards downtown Ottawa. Transfer to bus route 1 or 2 at the Confederation Line towards the Rideau Centre. Once you reach the Rideau Centre, walk towards Elgin Street and board the bus route 85 towards St. Laurent. Get off at the stop for Alexandra Bridge. Be sure to check the OC Transpo website for the most current schedules and fares, as costs vary based on your route.
Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, you can bike to Alexandra Bridge Lookout. From central Ottawa, take the Ottawa River Pathway, which runs along the river with beautiful views.
