Car
If you are traveling by car from Ottawa, take the ON-416 South and merge onto ON-401 West. Continue on ON-401 until you reach the exit for ON-17 West towards Renfrew. Stay on ON-17 for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the town of Renfrew. Once in Renfrew, turn onto County Road 12 North and follow this road for about 8 kilometers. Then, turn left onto Thomson Road. Bonnechere Falls will be on your right at 2318 Thomson Rd, Horton, ON K7V 3Z8. There is no cost for the drive itself, but be mindful of fuel costs and potential tolls along your route.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from downtown Ottawa to Renfrew. The Ottawa Valley Transit provides a route to Renfrew which can be found on their website. Once you arrive in Renfrew, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bonnechere Falls, as there are no direct public transport links to the falls. The taxi ride from Renfrew to Bonnechere Falls is approximately 15 kilometers and will cost around CAD 25-30 depending on the service. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your trip.
