Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards downtown Ottawa. From anywhere in the Ottawa Valley, take Highway 416 or Highway 401 to get to Ottawa. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for downtown and Parliament Hill. Use the following directions: From the Queensway (Highway 401), take Exit 118 for Nicholas Street. Continue straight onto Colonel By Drive, then turn right onto Wellington Street. The Memorial Chamber is located at 111 Wellington Street, right next to the Parliament Buildings. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in the Ottawa Valley to downtown Ottawa. Use the OC Transpo website or app to plan your trip. Once in downtown Ottawa, take the LRT (Light Rail Transit) to the Parliament station. From there, it's a short walk to The Memorial Chamber. Head north on O'Connor Street, then turn left onto Wellington Street. The Memorial Chamber will be on your right at 111 Wellington Street. Be sure to check the bus and train schedules for any potential costs.
Walking
If you're already in the downtown area and prefer walking, The Memorial Chamber is easily accessible. From Parliament Hill, simply walk towards the eastern side of the Parliament Buildings and follow the signs for the Memorial Chamber. It’s a short walk from any downtown hotel or location, approximately 5-10 minutes depending on your starting point. Enjoy the scenic views along Wellington Street as you make your way there.
