Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Ottawa Parliament Buildings, head east on Wellington Street towards Elgin Street. Turn left onto Elgin Street and continue for a few blocks until you reach Rideau Street. Turn right onto Rideau Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Sussex Drive. Turn left onto Sussex Drive and continue north until you hit George Street. Turn left onto George Street and keep walking until you reach Byward Market Square. Byward Fruit Market will be on your left at 36 Byward Market Square.

• Public Transit

  If you are near a bus stop, take the OC Transpo bus route 1 or 7 towards the Byward Market area. Get off at the Rideau Centre stop. From there, walk east on Rideau Street until you reach Sussex Drive. Turn left and continue walking north. You will soon reach George Street, where you will turn left again. Continue walking until you reach Byward Market Square. Byward Fruit Market is located at 36 Byward Market Square, just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Biking

  If you're biking, make your way towards the Rideau Canal. Follow the canal path north until you reach the intersection with Rideau Street. Turn right onto Rideau Street and bike east until you reach Sussex Drive. Turn left onto Sussex Drive and continue until you reach George Street. Turn left onto George Street and continue biking until you arrive at Byward Market Square. Byward Fruit Market is located at 36 Byward Market Square, easily accessible by bike.
