Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the ByWard Market, exit the market area and head east on George Street until you reach William Street. Turn right onto William Street and continue until you reach Mackenzie Avenue. Turn left onto Mackenzie Avenue, and you will see Major's Hill Park on your right. The park entrance is easily accessible from Mackenzie Avenue.

  • Public Transit

    If you are near the Ottawa City Hall, you can take the OC Transpo bus. Board bus number 1 or 7 at the City Hall stop heading towards the ByWard Market. Get off at the stop at Mackenzie Avenue and Wellington Street. From there, walk south on Mackenzie Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the entrance to Major's Hill Park.

  • Biking

    If you are biking from the Rideau Canal area, head north on the Rideau Canal pathway until you reach the intersection of Colonel By Drive and Laurier Avenue. Turn left onto Laurier Avenue and continue until you reach Mackenzie Avenue. Turn right onto Mackenzie Avenue, and you will find Major's Hill Park on your left. There are bike racks available at the park.
