From there, transfer to bus number 85 towards 'Barrhaven Centre' and ride for another 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Canadian War Museum' stop, which is right in front of the museum.

If you are near Parliament Hill, you can walk to the Canadian War Museum. Start at Parliament Hill and head south on Wellington Street. Continue on Wellington until you reach the intersection with the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. Turn left onto the parkway and continue walking for about 15 minutes along the waterfront. The museum will be on your left at 1 Vimy Pl.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can enjoy a scenic ride to the Canadian War Museum. From the ByWard Market area, head west on Rideau Street then turn right onto the Rideau Canal path. Follow the path along the canal until you reach the Ottawa River. Turn left and continue along the river path. After about 25 minutes, you will see the museum on your right at 1 Vimy Pl.
