Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Ottawa, head to the nearest OC Transpo bus stop. You can take Bus 88 from the 'Laurier' station (located at 300 Laurier Ave E). Board the bus heading towards 'Kanata'. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Carp Rd / Highway 417' stop. Once you get off the bus, walk north along Carp Rd for approximately 10 minutes. Diefenbunker: Canada's Cold War Museum will be on your left at 3929 Carp Rd.
Public Transit (Train & Bus)
Start your journey at the Ottawa Train Station. Take a VIA Rail or Ontario Train to Kanata Station. Once you arrive at Kanata Station, transfer to Bus 88 heading towards 'Kanata'. After about 20 minutes on the bus, get off at the 'Carp Rd / Highway 417' stop. Walk north along Carp Rd for about 10 minutes until you reach Diefenbunker: Canada's Cold War Museum at 3929 Carp Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Ottawa. Start from downtown and head northwest along the Ottawa River Pathway. Follow the path towards Kanata and then take Carp Rd heading north. The ride will take about 50 minutes, and you will find Diefenbunker: Canada's Cold War Museum at 3929 Carp Rd.
