From downtown Ottawa, head to the nearest bus stop and take the OC Transpo bus route 86 towards 'Hunt Club' or 'Hunt Club / St. Joseph' depending on the time of day. You will want to get off at the 'Carleton University' stop. From there, walk towards the Carleton University campus. Follow the signs to Dow Lake, which is located just on the east side of the campus. The lake is accessible via pathways that lead from the main buildings.
