Public Transit
Start by taking the OC Transpo bus #94 from the downtown area. You can catch the bus at the Rideau Centre bus terminal. Board the bus heading towards 'Orléans'. After about 45 minutes, get off at the stop 'Ridge Rd / Mer Bleue'. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1.5 km down Ridge Rd towards the Mer Bleue Bog. The entrance to the bog will be on your left, with signage indicating the trailhead.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in downtown Ottawa. Head east along the Rideau Canal pathway until you reach the intersection with the Ottawa River pathway. Follow the pathway until you reach the intersection with St. Joseph Blvd. Continue on St. Joseph Blvd until you reach the intersection with Trim Rd. Turn left onto Trim Rd, and then right onto Ridge Rd. Mer Bleue Bog will be on your right after about 3 km.

Follow the canal pathway until you reach the eastern edge of the city, then make your way to Innes Rd. Walk north along Innes Rd until you reach the intersection with Trim Rd. Turn left onto Trim Rd and then right onto Ridge Rd. Continue walking down Ridge Rd for about 4 km, and you will find the Mer Bleue Bog entrance on your left.
