    From the Rideau Centre, take bus route 1 or 7 from the bus terminal located on the ground level of the shopping centre. Ride the bus for 3 stops and get off at the 'Dalhousie' stop. Walk east on St. Patrick Street, then turn left on Sussex Drive. The cathedral will be on your right.

    If you are renting a bike, head towards the Ottawa River Pathway. Follow the pathway until you reach the National Gallery of Canada. From there, take the exit towards Sussex Drive and cycle south. Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica will be on your left at 385 Sussex Drive.

    Starting from Parliament Hill, walk down Bank Street towards the Ottawa River. Once you reach Wellington Street, turn right and walk until you reach Sussex Drive. Turn left and continue on Sussex Drive for about 5 minutes, and the cathedral will be on your right.
