Getting There

Walking
If you are near the ByWard Market area, head southwest on George St toward Sussex Dr. Continue straight onto Wellington St. You will soon see the impressive Parliament Hill on your right. The entire walk should take around 15 minutes.

Public Transit - Bus
From the Rideau Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop (Rideau & Sussex). Take bus number 1 towards Tunney's Pasture. Get off at the stop 'Parliament Hill'. The Parliament buildings will be directly in front of you. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transit - Light Rail
From the Ottawa Train Station, take the O-Train Line 1 (Confederation Line) towards Blair. Get off at the 'Parliament' station. Once you exit the station, walk west on Wellington St, and you will arrive at Parliament Hill in about 5 minutes.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can take the bike path along the Rideau Canal. Head north towards the canal and then west along the paths until you reach the intersection of Wellington St. Ride along Wellington St directly to Parliament Hill. This should take about 10 minutes.
