Public Transit (Bus)
If you're starting from downtown Ottawa, you can take OC Transpo Bus #5 from the 'Rideau Centre' stop. Board the bus and travel towards 'Lansdowne Park'. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Carleton University' stop. From there, transfer to Bus #97 towards 'Kanata'. After around 10 minutes, disembark at 'Remic Rapids Park'. The park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near Parliament Hill, you can walk to Remic Rapids Park. Start by heading west on Wellington Street towards the Ottawa River. Continue walking until you reach the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. Turn right onto the Parkway and follow it for about 3 kilometers (1.9 miles). Look for the signs leading to Remic Rapids Park on your left.

For those who prefer biking, start from downtown Ottawa and head towards the Rideau Canal Pathway. Follow the path until you reach the 'Hog's Back Falls'. From there, continue west on the pathways that run parallel to the Ottawa River. You will eventually arrive at Remic Rapids Park, which is well-marked along the route.
