From downtown Ottawa, walk to the nearest OC Transpo bus stop. Take bus number 88 towards 'Gatineau' and ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Aylmer, Rue Front'. From the bus stop, walk 5 minutes to the Symmes Inn Museum located at 1 Rue Front. The museum is just a short walk down Rue Front.

Once you are on the other side, continue along Rue des Allumettières and then turn right onto Rue Front. The museum is a 30-minute walk from the bridge.
