Walking
From Centretown, head north on Bank Street toward the Ottawa River. Once you reach the intersection with Wellington Street, turn right. Continue walking along Wellington Street for about 10-15 minutes. You'll pass by the Parliament Buildings on your left. The National War Memorial is located on the right side of the street, just before you reach Elgin Street. You'll easily recognize the memorial by its impressive design and the surrounding park area.

Public Transit - Bus
If you prefer to take public transit, you can catch a bus from Centretown to the National War Memorial. Use the OC Transpo route planner to find the nearest bus stop. A common route is to take the number 1 bus from the nearest stop on Bank Street, heading towards the Parliament. Get off at the stop 'Wellington / Elgin' and walk a short distance east on Wellington Street. The memorial will be on your left. A single bus fare is approximately CAD 3.75, and you can pay using your Presto card or exact change.
