Meewasin Park, Parkland Region Travel Guide

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the center of the Parkland Region. Head east on Highway 16 towards Saskatoon. Continue on Highway 16 for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the city limits. Once you enter Saskatoon, follow the signs for Circle Drive South. Take the Circle Drive exit towards the east side of the river. Exit onto Spadina Crescent E. Meewasin Park will be on your right at 2703 Spadina Crescent E. There is no parking fee at the park, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in the Parkland Region to Saskatoon. Check the local transit schedules for routes that take you to the Saskatoon Transit hub. Once in Saskatoon, you can transfer to Bus Route 7 (which goes towards the East side). Get off at the stop near Spadina Crescent E. From there, it’s a short walk to Meewasin Park (approximately 5-10 minutes). Be prepared to pay the bus fare, which is typically around $3 CAD for a single ride.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can ride from various points in the Parkland Region to Saskatoon. Follow the paved bike paths along the river as you approach the city. Once you reach Saskatoon, you can connect to the Meewasin Trail, which will lead you directly to Meewasin Park. Be sure to wear a helmet and bring a lock for your bike, as there are bike racks available at the park.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Meewasin Park, simply follow Spadina Crescent E until you reach the park entrance at 2703 Spadina Crescent E. The park is easily accessible by foot, with clear pathways leading in from the surrounding neighborhoods. This is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the area as you approach the park.
