If you are driving to Patterson Arboretum, start from the center of Saskatoon. Head south on Idylwyld Dr S and take the exit toward Circle Dr S. Merge onto Circle Dr S and follow it until you reach Preston Ave N. Turn left onto Preston Ave N and continue straight. The arboretum will be on your right at approximately 52.1287725 latitude and -106.6193533 longitude. There is no entrance fee for the arboretum, but parking may be limited.
Public Transportation
To reach Patterson Arboretum using public transportation, take Saskatoon Transit Bus Route 6 (University) from downtown Saskatoon. The bus will take you directly to the University of Saskatchewan campus. Disembark at the stop at the intersection of College Dr and Preston Ave. From there, it is a short walk along Preston Ave N towards the arboretum. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. A single fare ticket costs CAD 3.00.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can bike to Patterson Arboretum from anywhere in Saskatoon. Use the dedicated bike lanes and trails that lead to the University of Saskatchewan.
