If you are starting from the Old Quebec area, head towards Rue Saint-Jean, which is a popular street filled with shops and restaurants. Walk down Rue Saint-Jean until you reach the intersection with Rue d'Auteuil. Turn right onto Rue d'Auteuil, and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. The Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site will be on your left at 2 Rue D'Auteuil.

From the Old Port area, walk to the nearest bus stop at Place d'Youville. Take the Metrobus line 800 towards Les Saules. Get off at the stop ‘D'Auteuil’ (approximately 4 stops). From the bus stop, walk a short distance to 2 Rue D'Auteuil, where the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site is located.

If you have access to a bicycle, head towards Rue Saint-Jean and continue straight until you reach Rue d'Auteuil. Turn right and cycle along Rue d'Auteuil for about 5 minutes.
