Walking
If you are in Old Quebec, start at the iconic Château Frontenac. Head southeast on Rue de la Terrasse Dufferin towards Rue Saint-Jean. Continue onto Rue Saint-Jean until you reach Rue des Jardins. Turn left onto Rue des Jardins and walk until you reach Rue Vallière. Turn right onto Rue Vallière, and L'Îlot des Palais will be on your left at 8 Rue Vallière. This walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

From the Old Port area, walk to the nearest bus stop at Place d'Youville. Take the bus number 11 towards 'Cité Universitaire'. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at 'Vallière / Saint-Jean'.
