Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Old Quebec, head east on Rue Saint-Louis toward the Citadel. Continue walking along Rue Saint-Louis until you reach the intersection with Rue des Carrières. Turn left onto Rue des Carrières and follow it until you reach the Plains of Abraham park entrance. Once inside the park, walk straight along the path until you see Martello Tower 1 on your right, located at the edge of the park.

  • Public Transit

    From the Quebec City Convention Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop at Gare du Palais. Take bus number 800 in the direction of Beauport and get off at the 'Plaines d'Abraham' stop. From there, walk into the park and follow the path to Martello Tower 1, which will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you're at the Château Frontenac, head down the hill toward Rue Saint-Jean. Continue straight on Rue Saint-Jean until you reach Rue de la Couronne. Turn left onto Rue de la Couronne and then turn right onto Rue de l'Erable. This street will lead you directly into the Plains of Abraham park, where you can follow the main path to Martello Tower 1.
