Walking
If you are in the heart of Saint-Roch, start by heading east on Rue Saint-Joseph toward Rue de la Couronne. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way, so feel free to explore. When you reach Rue de la Couronne, turn left and continue until you reach Rue Vallière. Turn right onto Rue Vallière, and you will find L'Îlot des Palais at 8 Rue Vallière on your left. This museum is known for its historical and archaeological exhibits.
Public Transit
For those who prefer public transportation, you can take the bus. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Rue Saint-Joseph, and look for the bus number 11 that travels toward the Old Port. Board the bus and ride for about 5-10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Vallière / Saint-Joseph.' From there, walk south on Rue Vallière for about 2 minutes, and you will arrive at L'Îlot des Palais at 8 Rue Vallière. Be sure to have your transit fare ready, which is approximately CAD 3.50 for a single ride.
