Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Old Quebec, head towards Rue Sainte-Anne and walk northeast until you reach Place d'Armes. Continue onto Rue des Jardins, which will lead you to Terrasse Dufferin. Follow the Dufferin Terrace along the cliff's edge until you see the signs for Governors' Promenade. The entrance will be on your left, offering views over the St. Lawrence River.

    From downtown Quebec City, take RTC bus #800 or #801 towards the Old Quebec area. Get off at the 'Château Frontenac' stop. Walk northwest toward Rue des Carrières, then continue down to Promenade des Gouverneurs. The bus fare is approximately CAD 3.50 per ride.

  • Car

    If driving, head towards Quebec City and follow signs to the Old Quebec area. From the city center, take Rue Saint-Jean heading northeast. Turn left onto Boulevard Champlain. Continue along Boulevard Champlain until you reach Promenade des Gouverneurs. There is limited street parking available nearby, and parking fees may apply depending on the area.
