The windows depict scenes of Mary's Sorrows and Mary's Joys, and three large rose windows feature the names of Mary's ancestors. A large ceramic mural in the apse, created by Saskatchewan artist Lorraine Malach, depicts the Five Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary. The McGuigan Organ, built by Casavant Frères, is one of the finest cathedral organs in Canada, containing over 3,100 pipes. The cathedral has undergone several renovations throughout its history, including significant work after a fire in 1976. Today, Holy Rosary Cathedral continues to serve as the mother church of the Archdiocese of Regina, welcoming visitors and parishioners alike.
