Car
If you're starting from the city of Saguenay, head north on Route 170 towards the town of La Baie. Continue on Route 170 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Saint-Félicien. From Saint-Félicien, take Route 169 towards the west for about 40 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Mont-Valin National Park. Once you arrive at the park, follow the signs to the Pic de la Tête de Chien trailhead. Be prepared for a gravel road, and ensure your vehicle is suitable for such conditions. There is a parking fee of about $8 CAD for the day.

Public Transportation
From Saguenay, you can take a bus to Saint-Félicien. Head to the main bus station in Saguenay and look for a bus heading to Saint-Félicien, which operates through the company 'Orléans Express' or local services. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Saint-Félicien, you will need to arrange a taxi or local shuttle service to Mont-Valin National Park, as public transport may not go directly to the park. Expect to pay around $30 CAD for a taxi ride to the park. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the Pic de la Tête de Chien trailhead.
