Little Canada: A Miniature Celebration of the Great White North

Little Canada offers a unique and enchanting way to explore the best of Canada without leaving the heart of Toronto. Conceived by Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer, a Dutch immigrant with a passion for model-making and a deep appreciation for his adopted home, Little Canada meticulously recreates iconic Canadian landmarks, cities, and natural wonders in HO scale. Opened in August 2021, this 45,000-square-foot attraction features several distinct "destinations," each representing a different region of Canada. Visitors can wander through miniature versions of Little Niagara, Little Toronto, Little Golden Horseshoe, Little Ottawa, Petit Québec, Little East Coast, and the newly added Little West Coast. Each destination is brought to life with incredible attention to detail, including moving vehicles, flowing rivers, and dynamic lighting effects that simulate a full day-to-night cycle.Highlights include a breathtaking miniature Niagara Falls, the bustling streets of Toronto, the historic Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, and the picturesque coastal towns of Atlantic Canada. The recently unveiled Little West Coast exhibit showcases the stunning landscapes of British Columbia, from Vancouver's Stanley Park to the dramatic Rogers Pass. Interactive elements and cultural events further enhance the visitor experience, making each visit unique.
