Start by making your way to Union Station in downtown Toronto. From there, take the TTC subway Line 1 (Yonge-University) northbound to St. George Station. Change at St. George Station to Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) heading eastbound. Get off at the Broadview Station. From Broadview Station, exit and head to the bus stop for the 72 Pape bus. Board the bus and ride it to the Lakeshore Boulevard East stop. Walk south towards the entrance of the Tommy Thompson Park, which will lead you to the lighthouse located at the end of the park's trails.

If you're renting a bike, start from downtown Toronto. Head east on Queens Quay and follow the waterfront trail. Continue along the trail until you reach the entrance to Tommy Thompson Park. Once inside the park, follow the paths leading south towards the lighthouse. The ride is approximately 6-8 km and is mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride along the lakeshore.
